Your one-hour MicroNeedling session begins with a thorough cleanse and the application of topical anesthetic. The SkinPen® is then moved in a controlled manner over your treatment area, stimulating the healing process, collagen production, and cellular turnover. Soothing serums can be applied, enhanced by the micro-channels so they sink deeper into your skin for more effective results. On average, patients experience 2-4 days of redness and tenderness, similar to a sunburn, resulting in social downtime. Normal activities are not restricted.

Many patients see an immediate improvement to the radiance and vibrancy of their skin, but it takes time for your body’s healing to complete. Initial improvements will continue over time, peaking between 3-6 months. Your skin’s initial condition determines the number of treatments you require, typically 3 treatments every 4 weeks.
