How Many CoolSculpting® Sessions Will I Need?

Are you ready to get rid of problematic areas of fat but not ready for an invasive procedure like liposuction? CoolSculpting® provides a non-invasive option for removing stubborn pockets of fat. This body-contouring treatment lets you lose inches and unwelcome bulges without surgery or downtime.

What is CoolSculpting®?

CoolSculpting® is a non-invasive treatment that uses cold to break up fat cells. It works to sculpt those difficult areas that refuse to respond to your other attempts. At Rejuve Med-Spa, we have a Master’s Degree from CoolSculpting® University, something only 2% of US providers achieve. This allows our CoolSculpting® experts to provide you with the best possible results.

How Does CoolSculpting® Work?

CoolSculpting® freezes your fat cells so the body can remove them, a process called cryolipolysis. Fat cells freeze before the skin, so while the skin feels cold, the fat cells have started to crystalize and break apart. The CoolSculpting® system can treat areas of fat around the abdomen, thighs, back, upper arms, and even a double chin. Applicators placed on the skin will transmit cold to the fat cells, freezing them. The body filters away these fat cells over the following weeks.

How Many CoolSculpting® Sessions Will I Need?

After one treatment, you can expect to lose up to 25% of fat in the treated area. Many people only need one session, but some people may need two or three. Your CoolSculpting® expert will determine how many sessions you may need. Each person will have a different response to CoolSculpting® treatment, so each situation is different.

What Results Will I See With CoolSculpting®?

You can start to see results after a few weeks. As the body continues to remove damaged fat cells, you will begin to see definite results after about two months. Fat removal continues for four to six months after treatment. The treated area will look slimmer and more sculpted, and you may find that clothes fit better and you feel more confident.

Is There Any Downtime With CoolSculpting®?

You can resume your usual activities immediately after your treatment. Your skin may feel sensitive or sore, but not enough to limit you from most activities. Most people go back to work or their daily routine after treatment.

Am I a Good Candidate for CoolSculpting®?

If you are close to your target weight and need help with difficult areas of fat, you may be a good candidate. Since CoolSculpting® is non-invasive, it is safe for most people. You should not have CoolSculpting® if you have certain conditions that make you sensitive to cold.
