What is the AquaGold® Facial Treatment?

What is AquaGold® fine touch™?

AquaGold® fine touch™ is a skin rejuvenation treatment that stimulates collagen and infuses the skin with beneficial serums. This microchannel technology utilizes 24-karat gold needles that are finer than a human hair. The needles are attached to a reservoir filled with a customized cocktail of skincare ingredients, including vitamins, antioxidants, and hyaluronic acid, which are delivered directly to the deeper layers of your skin.

AquaGold® vs. Microneedling

You might be thinking that AquaGold® sounds similar to microneedling. Like microneedling, the AquaGold® device causes microdamage to the skin with tiny needles, triggering a healing response. 

While this alone is an effective skin rejuvenation treatment, AquaGold® takes it a step further. A customized serum of hydrating nutrients and antioxidants is injected through the tiny needles into your skin. Injecting these skincare ingredients makes them even more beneficial than just applying them topically. 

Is There Downtime After AquaGold® Treatments?

One of the biggest advantages of AquaGold® fine touch™ is that there is no downtime. Because the needles are hair-thin, you’ll feel little to no pain during the treatment and have minimal side effects after. You can resume your normal activities immediately after the procedure. Some redness is normal for a little while after the treatment, and your skin may be a bit pink for a few days.

When Will I See Results from AquaGold® fine touch™?

AquaGold® fine touch™ results will vary based on the patient’s skin type and individual needs. Depending on your custom serum ingredients, you may enjoy a healthy glow almost immediately. Most patients notice an improvement in their skin’s texture and tone within two weeks. 

Your AquaGold® treatment may offer gradual improvements for several months as your skin produces new collagen, and patients typically see the best results with a series of three treatments. Over time, the customized blend of ingredients continues to work, resulting in long-lasting improvements to the skin’s appearance.

You’ll likely enjoy improvements in your skin’s appearance for up to six months after AquaGold®. Occasional maintenance treatments can preserve your results.

Am I a Good Candidate for AquaGold®?

AquaGold® fine touch™ is an excellent treatment option for almost anyone looking to improve the texture and tone of their skin. The treatment is safe for all skin types and tones, and the serum can be personalized to each patient’s needs. We may not recommend AquaGold® for patients with active skin infections, open wounds, or a history of keloid scarring.
